I have adware or malware on my laptop and I can't get it off. Used avg, malware bytes, and adware fix. Running malware bytes in safe mode. Have win 10 system. I hate it. Has some smart ad redirect on Google but doesn't show in extensions etc.
Also my !laptop is locked down, nothing works, says apps can not be used by in something admin etc. No idea how to fix this one either
Help? Thoughts? Ideas?

safemode got rid of it, i think... but now i cant get avg to work, even when uninstalled restarted and reinstalled. says mfc110u.dll is missing.

Replace MFC with KFC. :D
Try doing a system restore / rollback to a point before it got infected.

OOoohhh...as far as fast food chicken goes, I love KFC! ;)

Have you tried fire? I hear a sacrifice to appease the machine spirit will help sometimes. I find interns and twinkies work best.

There are few problems in this world that cannot be resolved with the proper application of force. AKA: hit it with a hammer.

Did something similar to mine. I use Windows 8.1. Says my autocheck is missing. I just reinstalled from backup.

I expected that story to involve a hammer. I am disappointed. :)

Install Avast antivirus. Do a boot-time scan. Should work.
