Title: Is Mercenary Tailor still around?
Post by: Morien on 2014-02-23, 14:14:22
I really liked the shoulder rondels Sir Brian was sporting at Short Point yesterday, and think they'd go well with my 14th-Century kit (the one I use for Combat of the Thirty).  However, I can't seem to find a current link for them.  Can anyone help?  Alternately, does anyone have some they'd like to sell?

I'm sure as many of the guys here will tell you, while "Mercenary's Tailor" is not officially in business anymore, Allan Senefelder, who is a member of this forum, will probably be willing to make some for you!  I don't want to speak for him, but the other guys can get you in contact with him.

He is definitely around. I would email him or contact him on the armour archive (AL). He made my espauldiers and elbow cops and now is working on my new knees as the other ones didnt fit quite right.

Yes thankfully Allan still takes on some projects.

As for those shoulder cops, I did have an extra pair that I gave to Sir Edward along with the leather pads for arming points he could sew onto his gambeson however he hasn't (cough, cough) added them yet.  ::)  ;)
