Post by: Sir Edward on 2012-07-05, 16:05:12

Take a look, Lutel swords on KoA. I've never owned one, but I hear they're good for the price.

It's too bad the one I want is out of stock. Otherwise I may of picked it up. Albions dont appeal to me much cause they lack a scabbard.

Ulrich...I know exactly what you mean- I used to feel the exact same way.  Until I got my hands on one and the understanding was immediate and electric.  I could put it into words but they're just words, and words are wind.  Should you make it to one of our gatherings, you may get to test one or two out- you may have the same lightbulb moment I had, or not.  I'm betting you will.

I'm not familiar with Lutel other than the name...but I trust Sir Wolf's word...I might have to get one of my own at some point.

The good part about a sword without a scabbard is you can order exactly what you want from a few other places :)

Sir James speaks the truth...as I have a custom scabbard queued up for when the Albion is finally paid off and arrives.  :)

the lutels are beater swords but pretty good ones at that. i dont remember if they make sharps or not. the scabbards are just leather but they do look and fit well as do the belts

now the pole arms, pure awesomeness
