Hey, that's very cool...I like how they break down each play to its components.  What's amazing to me is that to the average Joe, it may look all chaotic since a lot of the movements are too fast for the untrained eye to follow, or rather, they may lack the understanding of said moves.

"If it was me, I would've..."

That sort of thing.  lol

Neat! The line drawings look modern; do you know if they're from a historical text, or modern repros based on period source? I haven't seen a halberd/polearm fighting manual, only swords.

I'm pretty sure those are modern drawings, yes. They don't look historical to me.

Historical or modern, those drawings are very well done; the artist has a keen eye for human locomotion- is it me or did the movements seem more natural, and not wooden like one would expect from that sort of animation, especially if it wasn't necessarily done by a pro?
