Title: Tournament Idea: Duelist vs Suicide.
Post by: Thorsteinn on 2014-10-12, 17:47:13
I want to share an idea for a small round robin prize tournament. It could be used across multiple disciplines but it would be about fighting Suicidal fighters.

There would be 2 people in each match: The Duelist, and the Suicide. It would go to the first solid incapacitating lethal blow. With roles switching between bouts.

The Duelist can score 1 point for a limb shot, and two points for a kill shot, but looses all points in the case of a double kill.

The Suicide only scores 2 points for a kill shot and maintains them even on a double kill.

It would use an afterblow rule except that the suicide can still gain points even if struck a lethal blow while the Duelist would lose said points. At the end most points wins.

Thoughts?

It sounds a little complicated and I'm not sure what the purpose of that rule set would be?

To give the compeditors a challenge and get them to think about more than just winning.
