Greetings all, my name is Kent and I have been interested in knights and chivalry for as long as I can remember. I am a retired US Navy medic, currently a registered nurse in western Washington. I was fortunate to find the SCA many years ago and have been involved with them off and on for nearly 40 years. I have practiced heavy combat with sword and shield as well as pike. Of late I have been working with longsword and rapier. Over the years ihave served in various capacities within the society. I have been a baronial chiurgeon, marshall chonicler and seneschal. I have dabbled in making some of my own armor and I'm still working on it. I was pleased to find this group as it embodies the ideals I seek to live up to. I look forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome Kent!
As Naythan mentioned, thank you for your service to our country. Thank you as well as for continuing to serve your community as an R.N.
It’s nice to see another SCAdian, I think you’ll find a wonderful mix of interests here from living history to WMA to SCA to Ren Fest, and everything inbetween!
Now that you’re on the board with 40 years of SCA experience, I guess I’ll have to stop complaining about my old bones and sore body with only 20+ years of SCA experience. ;)

Welcome & well met, Kent. I share Rodney's sentiments on that note. SCA-East Kingdom here. :) We will have much to discuss.
