I read that the other day.  Quite an interesting experiment, and truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Thanks for posting this.  It is a  very good read. I too am still reading it. It does make one wonder why people who are recreating the middle ages want to do so without religion  or with at least a strong distain for it.
