Title: Shield help.

Until I can rehab back to good,which may take a while, I'm going to have to switch to a strapped aluminum shield I think.

Aside from round are there any good options for the 9th cen in northern, eastern, or southern Europe for a shield shape?

When I first started I was using a heater version....much like the shield for the heraldry, worked well cause we could fight using the corners for protection.....also I have used a wenkel (sp) and I currently use a tear drop shape...
