Anyone had a chance to check this out? I'm thinking it could make for a good base layer for your gauntlets.

The look like they would fit under my other leather gauntlets I wear for Sabre, yes very interesting indeed! :)

It works by stiffening upon impact. The buzz words they like to use are "viscoelastic polymer".

So, something like a non-newtonian fluid. It might be worth a shot.

Certainly looks interesting. Visco-robo-whatsit and all. I've heard of the padded shorts from that company.

Zoombang is a great company, and the pads work quite well.
