Hello all, I'm Tim and I love the medieval period and especially knights. I'm in the process of reading a knights own book of chivalry. I do try to live my life by the knightly virtues as best I can. I do go to a bunch of ren faires, I have my own armour, am big into swords about to order my first albion actually. I've been training in the art of sword fighting for a couple months now. I'm also in the army and when I come back from deployment I joining the SCA and going and fighting in plenty of events. Im also from Northeast PA right around the scranton area. Looking forward to meeting you guys and one day maybe even joining the order!

Oh yea plenty of times, thats by far my favorite ren faire. I only made it out once this year cuz of the army but next season I'm going to try to go at least twice myself if not more.

Welcome! Scranton's a pretty place. :)

Welcome Tim.
Which Albion sword are you thinking about? My own love of the form and design of swords was magnified significantly by purchasing my first Albion.
Unless you'd rather not say, what's your MOS? Just curious.

Well I just ordered the Albion Knight and I'm also having a custom scabbard made for it. Cant wait to get my hands on it! And my MOS is 31B military police.

I happen to have a custom made scabbard for an Albion Knight for sale, with a dagger that has a scabbard made to match as well. The scabbards were made by Tritonworks with dark brown hand dyed leather that has stamped lion motifs, brass accents and historical 13th century suspension. The dagger was made by Arms and Armor and is still in like-new condition. Let me know if you're interested and I'll post pictures on the Market board.

I wish I would of known sooner, as I already have somebody making me a scabbard. Thanks anyway

I hate myself for asking this around holiday season, but........ how much, and pics?

The Knight is really an excellent choice. A great cutter, and one of the more affordable Albions too. :)
