What are these used for anyway?
Sir Rodney:
To make the ends of your points (strings to attached armour bits, think short shoe laces) easier to thread, reduce unraveling and add a little bling. :)
Sir William:
Oh, I'll be needing those then. I'm using waxed leather lacing to do mine up at the moment.
Sir James A:
I have the plain ones on the Historic Enterprises points. I finished braiding some of them and just need to wax them, then I'll post some pics. They're SO much better than shoelaces. :)
Sir William:
I'd like to see...just visited the site and found out how to get them to stay on the ends of the lacings. I take it an arming cotte with reinforced eyelets and laces is what I'll be needing then?
