Kettle Helms

(1/2) > >>

Sir Ulrich:
I've been wondering where I can find a kettle helm similar to the one I have currently in in at least 16 gauge steel, sure there's the GDFB one but I am very picky with how my armor looks.. I see the one I want for sale in the UK here: http://www.theknightshop.co.uk/catalog/kettle-helmet-p-2303.html

Yet all american outfitters I look at don't have that design, I've checked GDFB global as well and I found the design but it was out of stock... Not too sure how historical ones looked either, period I'm aiming for is mid 13th century, but any armor used earlier would be fine as well as I'm pretty sure some outdated old arms were used previously by the lowerclass soldiers and sergeant-at-arms classes.

Sir Patrick:
I found this place, but have never dealt with them.  Theirs comes in 16,14, & 12 gauge.

Here's the GDFB one in 14 gauge from a reseller.  Looks they'll have it in stock in 2 business days.

Sir Wolf:
http://www.kultofathena.com/product.asp?item=IR80626&name=War+Hat  close enough?

Sir Ancelyn:
Don't mind the puddle on the floor, it's just drool.

Sir Ulrich:
Hmm, I think the only way to get the helmet I would want is a custom armor piece. I may get the GDFB one though, seems combat worthy, only complaint is it's got 4 segments instead of 2. The one I really want would be the last one on this page called Kettle Hat Helmet http://www.gdfbglobal.com/kettle-hats.html

If I really had the money I would get something like this:

That ones basically perfect in almost every way, shame it prolly would cost 400 bucks at the very least.
