for a week or so, what all have i missed? any new kits? swords? women, other toys? pictures? esp. of the women hehehe

Well... did anyone happen to hear about the article run on the "today"show yesterday morning? Seems they think they have un-earthed a gladiatorial burial site in York, England. They discovered the cemetery by accident and said the skeletons showed that the individuals interred were much larger than the populace in England at that time. They also stated that they died at the prime of their lives and wounds investigated found the same sort that would have been inflicted in gladiatorial combat with the weapons of the games. Some skeletons even showed bite marks so large and so deep( grating the bone) that they can only assume tigers or the like. York was after all the oldest Roman settlement in Britain. Some of the bodies were decapitated with the skull placed at the feet and some were even buried with weaponry and possessions, indicators of a burial with honor.
