Just to jump on Mustafah's thread, I may also be looking for some plate gauntlets suitable for steel sparring. Ideal if mid-14th century, but if not, my fingers probably won't mind :)

Lord Dane - if the helm is still available, I might be interested, thanks.

I'll be putting a list of all the gear I am departing with shortly. Mostly used but in good shape and well-deserved battle gear. Survived many real steel battles in it. I'll need to take pics of all of it and post.

Sir Gareth - which one ?? The 16-gauge mild steel Pembridge-style Great Helm?? I'll post it if you like.

Sir Gareth
One 14 gauge (not 16) heavy mild steel Pembridge-style Great Helm w/ battle wear from steel combat to the crown (top). Took many head shots. Has no liner and is used but tested and rated for SCA. It has seen some fighting as you can see but is good for heavy list combat or practice. The oculars give good vision forward and ventilation is decent. Sell for $60 plus S&H.

One pair of 14 gauge heavy mild steel demi-gauntlets with black leather straps & nickel hardware. Shown with padded leather gloves (not included). Has some minor scuff marks from heavy list fighting but proven protection. Never got hit and hurt in these. Sell for $40 plus S&H.

Let me know. Have lot to get rid of.

Memory issues. The pics are on my phone. Ill rectify on my laptop this weekend. I actually have so much armor gear, I can battle ready 2 more knights in full plate minus breastplate. If you guys want some practice gear, I have plenty of sturdy carbon steel stuff and mild steel. List forthcoming.
