i lost this link a few years ago and just refound it again. AWSOME page. shows most of the coat of plates that have been found reconstructed.

I need to get one of those late 13th Century coats of plates like the one shown here: http://www.historiavivens1300.at/biblio/ritter.htm

It's a shame there aren't more sources for 12th-13th century stuff.

hehehe (evil grin) soooooo, when you coming up ed? hehehe i have a pattern and I just cut out and sewed my linen part of this.  just gotta make the metal plates and straps and rivet them together :) it's easy, can be done in less than a day.
