Well that was a movie. Odd beginning, middle was okay, ending may have been the most ridiculous ending I've seen in a movie in a very long time. And I've seen some goofy, low budget / foreign stuff.

If you really want to see something low budget / foreign, watch the Russian Alice In Wonderland live action movie. You'll never see Alice in Wonderland the same again.

There were some funny moments, and the expected LARPer bashing, of course - but to be fair, some of them are easy targets :)

I have to say the Europeans, in my experience are a little more laid back, not quite so rules-driven - more into the role-play and atmosphere.

Speaking of which, anyone interested in going to Drachenfest (http://www.drachenfest.info/df/index.php?article_id=1&clang=1) or Conquest of Mythodea (http://www.live-adventure.de/ConQuest_english/start.php) this year?  Germans do LARP right, man!   

I know this may bug our reenactment friends, but I think it would be awesome for a group from the Order to go one year...
