I’m creating a calendar entry for the SCA event THAC0 5 on April 19th, 2014 in St. Paul, MN.

The web site is: http://www.nordskogen.northshield.org/events/THACO/

I’m totally spent and I ache everywhere, even 24 hours after the event.  2 ½ hours of fighting before lunch and another 2 ½ hours after lunch did me in.   :o

My butted mail aventail, voiders, and skirt were shredded (again).  I really have to spring for some riveted mail!  I did manage to avoid the large bruises that typically accompany SCA combat.

Though I didn’t win a formal award, I was presented a token by Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for “having the most fun while fighting”!   :)

My cheap camera bit the dust so I’m hoping to snag some photographs from other people in attendance.

Per pale azure and argent, an eagle displayed per pale argent and sable, armed and langued or.

So a Norman, a Saxon, and a Viking walk into England....

Could you imagine the bloody results of a hooking penalty?!  :o
