Has anybody read  William Marshal, by David Crouch ? If so,  do you recommend it?

I do; it is a definitive resource on The Marshal's life and times, although it is a bit dry in the offing.  Still, if you want to know about William Marshal, that's an excellent place to start.

It is available from Kindle for 99 cents.  it is a novel so you know.
