Sir Edward:
Guess what? :)

I'm also trying out my new camera, and got these results in-camera (no adjustments except cropping/size).

Sir Wolf:
heheh note the "blue" grip ;) super awesome dude. is the pommel bronze? its hard to really see

Das Bill:
Wow, that's really sweet, Ed! I love the bronze pommel with it. The blue/black came out really nice, too.

And how does it handle? There's been a lot of talk about this model on myArmoury lately, but I haven't gotten a real sense of how it handles yet.

David's apparently just shipped. I don't remember what color combination he chose with the Chevalier, but he did just get his Talhoffer this week. He'd gotten the waisted grip, which I think looks even better than the standard one, and the grip color is an "aged" orange, which came out fantastic.

Sir Edward:
Sweet, can't want to see his new toys!

The handling on the Chevalier is really nice. Compared to the Knight, it's less blade-heavy in a chopping/cutting sort of way, but handles similarly in other respects. It feels slightly more agile for making cuts and moving between guards, but no less confident in its presence. It feels like less of a chopping sword, in comparison. Hard to describe.

The interesting thing is that the blade is somewhat hollow-ground to either side of the fuller... making it seem less like a fuller and more like a pair of ridges instead.

The profile taper is non-linear, being more curved at both the front and back than along the length of the mid-section.

And the picture is pretty accurate about the pommel's color. It's a very subtle bronze.
