Medieval(esque) Wedding

Sir Rodney:
My family and I were honored to attend a medieval-styled wedding last weekend.  A brother and founding member of my SCA company was married to his beloved.  The weather was perfect and the couple radiant.

The wedding was not a living history event, but a medieval inspired event with a dash of Disney thrown in.  Huzzah Dave and Michelle!

Friends Moth and Katrinka had their binding ceremony (kind of a pre-wedding) at Lilies War under the grand pavilion.  (Moth is the Best Man above, closest with sword raised)

Sir Edward:

I love that it wasn't just a sword-arch, and they had the ladies lined up with skillets across from the gents with the swords. Nice. :)
