First plate armor piece?

I just saw these two posts today...as you already know, I sold them. To answer your questions, Sir Brian, mine were exactly the same, no fans or rondels. I don't know that they would've fit you as your arms are bigger and longer than mine. I'm glad I was able to sell them on ebaY as I needed the money- I would've given you the brotherly discount. :)

Truly I empathize with you Sir William! Most of us are embroiled in this ‘battle of the bulge’ for which becomes more difficult to contest the older we get with little hope of ever truly vanquishing our foe of fat! In truth the best we can aspire to is a long delaying action! ;)

Yeah, tell me about it. I never thought it would happen to me, back when I weighed 60 pounds less. But we all have to fight it, it seems.
