A&A Henry V
« on: 2008-06-16, 00:26:02 »

Another sword that I've had on my shopping list is the A&A Henry V: http://www.armor.com/sword075.html

Anyone handled this one? I'm very strongly considering this one as my next acquisition, especially since it would go well with the new dagger I have on the way. :)

That's on my wish list too, though briefly handling it is all I've done.

I used to own one, and it was excellent. I traded it for a custom sword under the idea that I could always buy another Henry V later if I wanted, but the custome one was one of a kind. I kind of regret that decision.

Here were my impressions of the sword:

Nice review! I take it that they only offered the diamond cross section at the time? I'm leaning toward the hollow ground version. It costs a bit more, but that puts it on par with many of the Albions, and it sounds and looks spectacular so far.

Must... resist...

Must... pay off... credit card.... first!!! :)

Yep, the hollow ground option is a fairly recent option. I haven't seen one yet.
