"It wasn't the reward that mattered or the recognition you might harvest. It was your depth of commitment, your quality of service, the product of your devotion -- these were the things that counted in a life. When you gave purely, the honor came in the giving, and that was honor enough."

Potomac Celtic Festival

Wolf and I were discussing hitting this:

http://www.potomaccelticfest.org/

I've been to it many times, and it's a nice little celtic faire. Most of us don't bother with garb or armor for this one, though you do see some people doing that. Historically it's been WAY TOO FRICK'N HOT anyway. :)  Last weekend's scorching humidity would have been exactly what I'd expect for a weekend at PCF; it was just a week early.

Anyway... anyone else going?

We went for a few hours. Boy, this festival has definitely gotten a bit smaller over the years. Still a decent number of vendors and clan tents and the like, but smaller than what it used to have, and I think the attendance was quite a bit lower than I remember from when I first started attending. They were down to one stage too. Changing site locations probably didn't help. It's a shame that it's declining.
