Maille Tailor

<< < (4/5) > >>

Sir Ulrich:
I think the best bet is to practice tailoring with butted maille and  then transition with riveted. Thankfully I still got some rings left from my days of butted maille so I think when I DO tailor mine I'll use those rings to fill it in and then when I get some riveted rings I'll replace the butted ones with riveted.

Sir William:
That's a great idea, Ulrich...keep us posted as to how it turns out.

Sir Edward:

--- End quote ---

Yep. Though when I'm taking my own advice, it usually turns into "measure once, cut twice"... and then I regret it. :)

Sir William:
LOL

Let me find out Sir Edward and I went to the same school of thought.  :)

SirNathanQ:
Well I cut the first long seam down one arm. tomorrow will be the other, and determining how much to cut.
