Alright, who's going, and on what day?

Well, I guess I'll be in attendance for the first weekend as well.  Not sure about Sunday, but most likely on Saturday.

This will be the first year in about 5 years that I will not make it to at least one day of MdRF. Unfortuanately with me being part of the Trayned Band at PaRF, I am unlikely to be able to get away to sneak off to Maryland. Take lots of pictures and have fun in my place.

we will miss you, Sir Mathew.
I will try for Saturday, and if there's a soccer game then I'll be there on Sunday.

I'll be there on Sunday and hope to make all three days on Labor day weekend.

I'm also hoping to entice Sir Andrew and his lady to join us on Labor day weekend.  ;)

So for all the guys who do both days, do you have local rooming, like a hotel or something for the night? Cause MDRF is about a 2.5 hour drive for me.

I would like to do both days, and it might be a bit easier to get by the folks with something like that.

For me it's about a 70 minute drive, so we just suck it up and drive it both days.

Does it give names?  I've not yet been on the site.  My thought is they might be referencing Rip's...which is a combo restaurant/motel in the style of a Howard Johnson's (not sure if you ever heard of those, but our older brethren might)...good food at the least, can't speak for the accomodations.

Edit:  Ok, just checked the site and they're advertising Springhill Suites in Annapolis, a Marriott establishment.  Generally speaking, Marriott hotels are good hotels, slightly subpar than say, Embassy Suites, but a step above the likes of Holiday Inn or Econo Lodge (or Super8 or Motel6 for that matter)- probably offers a free continental breakfast and the usual amenities.  Annapolis is a nice town...from the little I've seen of it.
