Fencing
« on: 2008-04-22, 20:35:31 »
so dianna (my wife) and i were changing the kids rooms around the other day and found all of our old fencing gear. we laughed and just on the off chance tried it on.  wouldn't you know that it actually fit again. its been I'd say a good 5 years since we've worn the stuff. I look around at my moms and found a 3rd mask I bought for my brother in law. So to mkae a long story short I think we're going to a friends house this Saturday and play around a bit. i saw a bit cause i'll prob be out of wind after the first fight hehe.  hopefully no one will see us and laugh too hard.

Haha, congrats on being able to still fit it all. :) Yeah, luckily it's relatively low impact. Very aerobic though. Just take breaks between fights. :)

ya thats what Dianna wants to do. of course since she's on this weight loss thing (over 50+ lbs so far) she wants to buy a tread mill too.

Don't feel too unjust Sir Wolf... Sir Brian and I fought a bout at the GaRF
and I only took him by one point. He'd never fenced before and can move pretty quickly
for his size. I think his lady has a bit of it on video. Was a heck of a lot of fun though
and like yourself, it had been some years since I last fenced....  :D

Aye that was lots of fun! ...Although I still have some lingering suspicions that you were
taking it easy on me Sir Dragonlover as you are always a most gracious and honorable friend!  ;D
